Developing strong relationships is really important for belonging to a growing church community, so we encourage everyone to get involved in the following ways:

Meetings

Join a Connect Group

Connect Groups are our small groups which meet weekly in many local communities. Each group offers opportunities for Riverside members to:

  • Worship, pray, study the Bible and serve their local community
  • Encourage and support each other; a place to be family together
  • Enjoy food and social activity

Ultimately, each group aims to build those connections that we believe are so important as we continue to grow as a church.

If you are part of Riverside and are interested in joining a group please speak to a member of our core team.

Serve on a team

We've lots going on both within and outside of the church, and there's something for everyone to get involved in. We encourage everyone to serve on a team; not only is it a great way to get to know others but we also believe everyone should play a part. It's what belonging is all about!

Sunday team opportunities include logistics, welcome, catering, car parking, children's and youth work, and worship and tech support. Other team opportunities include various midweek groups and activities, and our Impact Groups.

Giving

Giving

Our God is generous and we believe that we are called to be generous with the resources that God has given to us; this includes our time and talents, and also our finances. The amazing generosity of people's giving enables Riverside to pursue our mission and demonstrate God's love in practical ways locally, nationally and internationally.
