July 2 2026 Art Group 2:00pm - 4:00pm Riverside Centre

Do you enjoy drawing, painting in oils, acrylics, watercolours or creating pictures with pastels? If you do, our new 'Art Interest group' will begin on Thursday 3rd July from 2pm--4pm, in the Riverside Centre.
No matter if you are new to art or a seasoned, famous artist, we would love to see you for a relaxing, calming afternoon. Please bring your own art materials!
We are delighted that 'Knit & Natter' will also continue alongside this group and will now run every week.
There will be no official charge for the Art Interest Group, except a small voluntary donation to cover the cost of refreshments.

 July 3 2026 Coffee Plus 10:30am - 12:00pm East Bridgford Garden Centre

Coffee Plus will meet on the first Friday of every month at East Bridgford Garden Centre in a reserved designated area in the restaurant, look out for our sign..

 July 25 2026 Riverside Women's Walk then Cake & Refreshments 2:00pm - 4:00pm Brettsfield, Gypsy Lane, Bleasby

Come and join us for an afternoon woodland walk around the beautiful Jubilee Ponds, Bleasby with cake and refreshments after. 

This is a flat walk, no steps or stiles, and takes around 40 minutes depending on pace - and we won't rush!

 

Jubilee Ponds have become a haven for all sorts of wildlife over the years. See how many birds you can identify on the way around, and how many species of trees can you find?

 

We will start and finish at Penny's house, with cake and refreshments on our return.

 

If the weather is poor, or you just don't fancy walking, come along anyway, bring a friend, and sign up on Church Suite so we know how many cakes to make.

 July 31 2026 Coffee Plus North 10:30am - 12:00pm Daffodil Tearooms, Eakring We are excited to announce the launch of a NEW 'Coffee Plus' event, which will take place in the north of our county… 'Coffee Plus NORTH'!

Following on from the success of our usual 'Coffee Plus' events, a team of Riversiders have organised to meet at the Daffodil Tearooms in Eakring, Newark (NG22 0BL) on the last Friday of every month from 10:30am-12pm.

All are welcome for teas, cakes, chatter and fellowship!
