 May 5 2023 Coffee Plus 10:30am - 12:00pm East Bridgford Garden Centre

Coffee Plus will meet on the first Friday of every month at East Bridgford Garden Centre in a reserved designated airy space just for us. Roof vents are open and we are in the Cafe overflow area within the cyclamen border.

 May 13 2023 Parenting Matters - Ages 6-11 years 9:30am - 12:30pm Riverside Centre

Parenting is one of the hardest but most important things we do in life and sometimes we can feel alone with the difficulties we face.

The following support discussions will have a Christian focus and are designed to connect parents with children of a similar age.

We will share common challenges, bring them to Jesus and pray for our situations and each other. We will also look at how God’s word can guide us and share ideas and strategies that have helped us. 

The sessions will be led by Rachel Oldfield (NCC Parent and family worker) and facilitated with Rachel Toplis.

Ages 6-11 discussion topics include: setting boundaries and discipline, conflict, calming strategies

 May 18 2023 Women's Worship and Word Event 7:30pm - 9:30pm Riverside Centre Our next women’s event in on Thursday May 18th at 7.30pm in the Riverside Centre.
Isaiah 26:3 says “You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, whose thoughts are fixed on you”.

This will be an evening where we have an opportunity to simply fix our thoughts on God, to soak in His presence through worship and to allow Him to expand our perception of Him. We need this because no matter how big we think He is, He is infinitely greater, more loving, more gracious, kinder, and it’s in worship when we concentrate on Him and give Him room that He makes Himself known to
us.
So this will be an evening of worship in songs, prayer and praise, worshipping in Spirit and in Truth where we give Holy Spirit room to work, opening up our hearts and minds to the greatness of God.

This is a free event, but places are limited so we need you to sign up on Church Suite if you have the technology, or sign up at the Connect Desk. Friends are welcome as always.
