Our church was founded some 45 years ago and began as a Sunday school in the tiny village of Bleasby in the heart of the Trent Valley. As the children grew up the Sunday school evolved into a Youth Group and then on into a full-blown church which now encompasses every age group. What a joy it was recently to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to our oldest member (our dear Gladys at 97!) whilst at the same time welcoming in two brand new babies!

Numerical growth has made it necessary to move building several times. As I write this short article we have now completed our move to the brand new, ‘state of the art’ school hall on Nottingham Road , Southwell. We’d love you to join us! Our main Sunday services will be held at the Minster School Hall, Nottingham Road, Southwell at 10.15am each week. (Breakfast pastries are served from 9.45am).

At the heart of Riverside is a desire to worship our God together, to learn from His word, to enjoy meaningful fellowship and to serve our communities wholeheartedly. We are a family church with a big heart and a warm welcome!
